THE BOOKS

“In ‘The Prophesy: Vi’s House,’ a beautiful faerie named Raynebow is sent to observe young Viola. Their bond deepens after Viola’s traumatic car accident, which leaves her orphaned and with physical challenges. Despite her struggles, Viola’s friendship with Raynebow strengthens, shaping her resilience in the face of adversity.

Meanwhile, ‘Painted by Words’ unfolds as a heartfelt collection of memories, starting with the author’s mother recounting her own childhood. Inspired by her mother’s tales, the author intertwines their stories, capturing a journey through joyful moments, heartaches, and the enduring bonds that define their lives.

Together, these narratives explore the resilience of the human spirit amidst challenges and the power of storytelling to illuminate our deepest connections.”

I live on a small farmette in SW Wisconsin. Currently, we have a horse, a pony, a cat, 2 German Shepard’s. My husband and I have been married 39 years and worked hard to finally live our dream of making our home in the country. As I am retired due to physical problems, I still work part time, do my best to take care of our place and our animals. My passions are riding, fishing, swimming and of course writing. After living in the real world, I did get a chance to continue my education. I earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. This was when I had a couple of classes which renewed my interest in writing. The first book, Painted by Words, I started writing years ago after I was married.

With family responsibilities for three children, writing was shelved. After getting laid off from my job in December of 2008, I started writing again. I completed the book in 2009 and self-published it in 2014. In February 2019, it earned 5 gold stars from the Literary Titans. The writing bug bit again around 2018 when I began my new story, The Prophecy – Vi’s House. I continue to write as there is more stories to tell. The story will continue for Painted by Words, The Second Coat is near completion. As for The Prophecy – Vi’s House, it’s a never-ending story. This book will continue as I hope it will intrigue readers for many years to come.
